Reminders!

Hey y'all! We're getting closer and closer to this bad boy race! Can't wait.
I've taken a little break from planning/organizing but it's time to jump back on the train. I just want to remind you of a few things.

Currently we have 2 males, 6 females registered. Which means, we still need 4 guys! If you know anyone who would like to participate PLEASE LET ME KNOW! If I don't have a full team by April25th I'll be heading to the Ragnar boards to pick up some random male runners.

Secondly, we will be needing 3 volunteers to work at aid stations, etc. Again, PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you have any friends or family who would be willing to give a few hours to help us out. This is mandatory so we really need help with this.

Third, we will be needing 2 vans. We have one enlisted now (which I figure can act as our transportation for the Las Vegans up to Utah). But we need one more vehicle! PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you have a van or suburban available that we can use. Otherwise we will have to RENT one and that's just more money out of our pockets. Keep in mind that we'll need to split the cost of gas and van rental (if necessary).

Fourth, if you haven't requested which runner you'd like to be (give me 2 or 3 choices) I'll be automatically assigning you. Give me your requests by the end of April please.

And finally... I need money. For those of you who haven't paid me yet please remember to do so. It is $92.65 per runner. I'll kick you off the team if I don't have your money by the end of April. Consider this a gentle reminder ;)

There are some things that we'll need to think about as the race gets closer- lodging (camping, hotel, friend's or family's houses), food, team "flair", etc.

You guys rock!
with love, your team captain

Are you still looking for runners?
My Son & I live in Southern Utah and are looking for a team. I ran in the Wasatch Back last year and loved it. We love hills and dirt roads. We would be happy to take the hard legs.
He runs 5 minute miles on the flat, I run between 7 to 7.5 minute miles.
